We manufacture high-precision test tapes and test cassettes, and provide expert guidance and tools for proper calibration of reel-to-reel and cassette decks.
With our products, you can align and calibrate tape decks and cassette decks of all brands, for example AKAI, AMPEX, BALLFINGER, BRAUN, FOSTEX, GRUNDIG, HITACHI, NAGRA, NAKAMICHI, OLIMP, OTARI, PHILIPS, PIONEER, REVOX, SONY, STELLAVOX, STUDER, TANDBERG, TEAC/TASCAM, TECHNICS, TELEFUNKEN and others.
Production is carried out on a highly precise and modified full-track tape recorder with extra-wide full-track heads and very low wow & flutter values. Our test tapes are suitable for the alignment of tape decks with different track widths, such as full-track, ½-track or ¼-track, as well as tape decks with different channel counts, such as mono, 2-channel, 4-channel and 8-channel.
Selected batches of BASF/Emtec PER368, SM911, PER528, and a very high-quality Quantegy tape are used for production.
The test cassettes are manufactured in either full-track or stereo format, recorded on BASF, SONY or MAXELL tape, and assembled in precision shells specifically selected for the highest azimuth accuracy.
All test and alignment tapes as well as test cassettes are individually checked after manufacture.
